SFL 3: FOUR BOUTS ANNOUNCED

After previously announcing some heavy hitters who will be making the trip to India for Super Fight League 3, the fledgling uber-promotion now signs some regional talent from Asia and locally known standouts:

Direct from the press release:

The Super Fight League is pleased to announce the follow undercard matchups for SFL 3 :
Kultar Singh Gill [India] vs Brandon Kesler [USA]
Gurdarhshan Mangat [India] vs Liu Si Cong [China]
Lakhwinder Singh Sekhon [India] vs Will Chope [Phillipines]
Anup Kumar [India] vs Noom [Thailand]

On the SFL 3 India card will be K1 and Dream veteran fighter Kultar "Black Mamba" Singh Gill who will take on American mma fighterBrandon Kesler. Kultar has surprised everyone by taking this fight at middlewight since he has always been fighting K1 as a lightweight. Kesler built like a tank is a bjj brown belt from The United States and just coming off a hard fought loss at a Thailand mma promotion against japanese mma and ex-Pride fighter Daiju Takase. There is no doubt that this will be one of the most exciting fights of the entire SFL 3 card.

Punjabi power will be displayed best at 3 of the 4 Indian fights at SFL 3 as Gurdarshan Singh Mangat will take on up and coming chinese mma fighter Liu "Steve" Si Cong representing Fighter Unite Shanghai at a 62 kg catchweight. This promises to be a fast paced high energy action packed all round mma bout.

Coming off a 3 fight winning streak Lakhwinder "Lightening" Singh Sekhon will be challenged by 6 foot 4" mma fighter Will "The Kill" Chope : http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Will-Chope-69087 at SFL 3 in New Delhi. Over the years Will have taken on 14 of the whos who of the asian mma scene in this weight class and pulled off 3 tko / ko's , 5 submissions and 1 decision out of his 9 wins. This is definately not an easy fight for the Indian Lakhwinder comparing his 3 / 0 record to wills 14 fight experience.

Also returning immediately back to SFL will be Delhi hometown hero Anup Kumar. After his win against sri lankan wushu champion dilanga at SFL 2 in Chandigarh Anup will be faced by a representative of the feared Legacy gym Thailand known in Thailand only as "Noom". It will be striker versus grappler war as India and Thailand clash at SFL 3 in New Delhi where Indian kusthi will be tested against the dreaded Muay Thai.
